Police are investigating after an incident of assault and criminal damage at a café in Norwich.

It happened shortly after 12pm on Saturday 6 October when two men have been involved in an altercation at a café in Woodgrove Parade.

One of the men has kicked and repeatedly punched the other, causing him to fall on the floor. The suspect has then picked up a chair and smashed one of the café windows before leaving the scene.

Further enquiries led officers to arrest a man, aged in his 30s, on suspicion of assault and criminal damage. He was taken to Wymondham Police Investigation Centre for questioning, but subsequently bailed until 29 October 2018 pending further enquiries.
