Norwich Christmas lights will be switched on at City Hall tonight, with entertainment starting at 6pm.

Don’t miss the party of the year when the streets of Norwich sparkle and shine and music fills the night at the annual Christmas Switch-on.

Visual treats for the evening include:

Entertainment at City Hall
Father Christmas parade
Tunnel of Light along the side of St Peter Mancroft Church with more than 50,000 pulsating LED bulbs.
At 7pm, special guest Ed Balls will be switching on the lights throughout the city, followed by stunning projections set to music on Norwich Castle and City Hall. Ed Balls is a longtime friend of Norwich as both a passionate Canaries fan and political campaigner for the Labour Party. Now he has found new fame with his startling performances on the hit BBC show Strictly Come Dancing, where he has made it through to the final few celebrity dancers as a home audience favourite. So will it be Gangnam style or will he wear a mask tonight? Will he score a perfect 10 in Norwich? Turn up by 7pm to find out!
