A fourth person has been arrested on suspicion of grievous bodily harm in relation to a stabbing that took place in Norwich last week.

Officers were called to Sleaford Green on Thursday 21 April following reports that a man had suffered multiple stab wounds.

The victim, a man in his late 20s, suffered serious life-threatening injuries and was taken to the Norfolk and Norwich University Hospital for treatment where he remains in a stable condition.

Three teenagers arrested in connection with the incident have been questioned and released with no further action to be taken against them in relation to the serious assault.

A 17-year-old who was arrested in connection with the incident appeared at Norwich Magistrates’ Court on Saturday 23 April, charged with possession of class A and B drugs and possession with intent to supply a class A drug.

He has been bailed and will appear at Norwich Crown Court at a later date.

The fourth man arrested, aged in his 30s, remains under investigation and enquiries continue.
