Bethel Street Police Station in Norwich’s city centre will reopen to the public on Monday 27 January following refurbishment work.

The Public Enquiry Office will reopen to the public from midday on Monday until 5pm, resuming normal opening hours from Tuesday 28 January.

Work to refurbish the police station started in August 2023, with the first teams moving back into the building in November last year.

The project is almost complete with the last remaining teams expected to move into their new accommodation in the summer.

The redevelopment is part of the constabulary’s wider estates plan to enable the modernisation and rationalisation of police buildings so that the force can make millions of pounds of savings over the medium to long term.

The office will be open to the public:

Monday-Wednesday 9am-5pm
Thursday-Saturday 9am-6pm
Sunday (& Bank Holidays) – Closed
Outside of these hours, the yellow phone will redirect members of the public to Norfolk Constabulary’s control room.
