Members of the public and media are invited to attend the public meeting of the Norfolk Bus Forum on Saturday 8 October in the Forum, Norwich from 10.30am to 12:30pm

The Norfolk Bus Forum is a group of key stakeholders that includes The Norfolk Federation of Women’s Institutes, bus operators, bus user groups, and accessibility groups as well as other representatives from local businesses, health and education. The groups meet once per quarter to develop and promote Norfolk’s public transport network.

The special guest speaker will be Dawn Badminton-Capps, Director, Bus Users England. In addition people will be able to hear about the Safe and Better Journey Bus Cards launched earlier in the summer which are part of Norfolk Bus Integrated Approach to Disability, and there will be a chance for attendees to put their own questions and make their own points on the day.

Mary Dorrell, Chair Of The Norfolk Bus Forum said: “We are pleased to welcome our guest speaker, to hear how Norfolk fits into the bigger picture of Bus Users UK, and excited to tell you more about the Better Journey Bus Cards, which since their launch earlier this summer are already helping make people’s journeys easier.”

The public meeting will be held in the Auditorium, The Forum, Norwich, 8 October 2016, please arrive from 10.15am. The meeting will start at 10.30am and is expected to finish at 12.30pm.
