Following a CCTV appeal released last week a man had been arrested and charged in connection with the incident.
Alan Hammond, 36, from London Road in Ipswich was arrested on Friday 3 February 2017. He was charged later the same day with three thefts and a robbery which all happened last month.

The charges relate to incidents in Norwich including one which happened at 10.15pm on Friday 20 January 2017. A man entered the BP on Plumstead Road and approached the shop worker who was behind the till. He then assaulted him before demanding money. This was refused and the suspect left stealing some alcohol.

After Hammond pleaded not guilty at his first hearing (Saturday 4 February 2017) at Ipswich Magistrates Court a trial date was set for Monday 6 March 2017.
