A 21-year-old man has been charged in connection with a number of fraud offences.

Benaissa Sintim, of Cazenove Road, London appeared at Norwich Magistrates Court today (Friday 9 October 2020) where he was charged with one count of conspiracy to commit fraud.

The charge relates to 31 incidents between 1 January and 8 October this year, in which victims have been encouraged to withdraw large quantities of money, before handing it over to a courier who falsely claims to be a police officer.

Sintim was remanded into custody and is next due to appear at Norwich Crown Court on 6 November 2020.
