Norwich Eye reviews Travel in Light by the Voice Project

The Voice Project is a Norwich phenomenon – a large secular choir of enthusiastic amateur singers led by professional performers and tutors. Travels in Light is the third work in a trilogy of pieces about sleep, dreaming, waking and the bits in between. Council takes stand against bullying and harassment

Norfolk County Council has confirmed its zero tolerance approach to bullying and harassment and revealed that two employees have been dismissed for this issue over the last two years. The news came as the council announced it was launching a new bullying and harassment policy, to give a clear focus on the issue and to stress it is a serious disciplinary matter. Appeal following robbery in Norwich

Police are appealing for witnesses to a robbery in Norwich. It happened at approximately 7.05pm on Thursday 18 January. A man in his 30s was cycling on a footpath between Northumberland Street and West End Street when he was confronted by a group of up to three males. The victim was assaulted before the suspects made off with his backpack and bicycle. Appeal to identify man following purse snatch

Police are appealing for help to identify a man following a purse snatch in Norwich. It happened on Magdalen Street at approximately 10am on Tuesday 16 January 2018. An elderly woman was standing at the bus stop opposite the TSB bank when a man approached and stole her purse from her handbag. The purse contained cash and a picture of the woman’s late husband. Norfolk County Council’s staff praised for huge effort to clear trees from roads

Trees brought down on Norfolk’s roads by Storm Fionn Staff and contractors at Norfolk County Council have been thanked for their efforts to clear roads of fallen trees after one of the most damaging storms of recent years. Storm Fionn battered Norfolk early on Thursday morning and the County Council received 40 reports of trees fallen onto roads across the county within half an hour by 5.30am.
