Five arrested after murder enquiry launched in Thetford

Police have launched a murder enquiry following the death of a woman in Thetford. Officers were called to Frobisher Close just after 5.30pm on Monday 12 December after concerns were raised by the Ambulance Service who were in attendance. Sadly a woman, aged in her 40s, was pronounced dead at the scene. The road and property has been cordoned off whilst the investigation continues and forensically trained officers are currently examining the scene. PCSO Jan Moore from the Spixworth Safer Neighbourhood Team will hold a street briefing at The Co-op Store in Crostwick Lane on Monday 19 December from 7pm until 8pm. Witness appeal after police pursuit – North Walsham

Officers involved in a pursuit with a vehicle yesterday (Thursday 8 December 2016) are appealing to witnesses to come forward. A silver Peugeot 206, SP54 YAH, failed to stop for police at 10.17am this morning on Norwich Road in North Walsham. The car is described as a small hatchback with black alloys and red wing mirrors.
