Police are appealing for witnesses following a fatal collision in Norwich on the night of Thursday 8 August 2019.

It happened shortly after 9.50pm on Rose Lane at the crossing near to the junction with St Vedast Street involving a pedestrian and double-decker bus.

The pedestrian, a woman in her 80s, was sadly pronounced dead at the scene. No one on the bus was injured.

The road was closed while emergency services dealt with the incident and re-opened the following morning.

Officers are keen to hear from anyone who witnessed the collision or may have dash cam footage. Police would also like to hear from any bus passengers who didn’t speak with officers on scene.
