Police are appealing for witnesses following a collision in Norwich this week.

The incident occurred on Unthank Road at the junction with Essex Street at 6.28pm on Wednesday 8 March 2023.

A silver Vauxhall Corsa collided with a silver pedal cycle travelling towards Eaton.

The male cyclist, who had been making food deliveries, was taken to hospital with minor injuries and later discharged.

Police are particularly keen to speak to any car which overtook a similar pedal cycle heading towards Eaton, any car driver that gave way to a car turning right into Essex street, or any driver that was allowed by oncoming traffic to turn right into Essex Street.

Anyone who may witnessed the collision and has any information or anyone who has any dashcam footage of the incident is asked to contact PC Bob Connor at Bethel Street Police Station on 101 quoting crime ref NC-08032023-340.
