Police have launched an investigation after a woman fell from a first floor flat in Norwich.

Officers were called to Johnson Place at 9.45am on Sunday (10 September 2023) following reports a woman had fallen from the balcony of a first-floor property.

The victim – a woman aged in her 40s – suffered serious injuries in the fall and was taken to the Norfolk and Norwich University Hospital where she remains in a stable condition.

A man aged in his 50s and a woman aged in her 40s were arrested at the scene on suspicion of assault GBH. The woman was taken to Great Yarmouth Police Investigation Centre for questioning. The man was taken to Wymondham Police Investigation Centre for questioning. They have both been released on police bail while the investigation continues.
