Officers from the Roads Policing and Firearms Operations Unit (RPFOU) are appealing for road users to check their Dash Cam footage following a collision at the beginning of the week.
The incident happened on Barn Road between 8.55am and 9.05am on Monday 14 November 2016 outside the Norwich Kitchen and Bathroom Centre when a blue Ford Transit tipper truck was involved in a collision with a pedestrian.
The pedestrian, a woman in her 50s, suffered serious injuries and was taken to the Norfolk and Norwich University Hospital where she remains in a critical but stable condition.
Investigating officer, PC Greg Prowting said: “If you have a dash cam and were in the area at around 9am we would like to hear from you. Even if you did not witness the incident you may have captured something which will assist with the investigation.
I have also been made aware of a man who was in the immediate area at the time of the collision who is yet to come forward. I would like to urge that man, or anyone with information to contact me on 101.”
Anyone with information about the collision should contact PC Greg Prowting at Wymondham Police Station at 101 or contact Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111 or through their Anonymous Online Form at http://www.crimestoppers-uk.org/.
