My First Show: Little Bo Peep and Her Missing Sheep

Meet Bo: she’s in her bedroom and she just can’t get to sleep. Her imaginary friend suggests that they count sheep… but where are Bo’s sheep? Her woolly companions are nowhere to be found.

The Garage invite the youngest theatregoers to join them on this magical adventure as the audience journey to help Bo find her sheep, in a grand quest to get to sleep!

This early years show, performed by actor-musicians, encapsulates all the fun that audiences have come to expect from a My First production. From new original tunes and popular My First songs, through to nursery rhymes and games, this 50-minute show is fun for children up to age 7 (and grown ups too!)
Little Bo is played by Lucy Wells, who also performed in My First Play: A Midsummer Night’s Nap,  while Dr. Imagination is played by Lloyd Gorman, who is also the music composer for all My First productions, and Billie The Sheep is played by himself!

I was lucky enough to join some very enthusiastic young children and their families to see this charming and well though out show. There are lots of chances for children to join in, although they are kept in safe family groups in the generously sized big top tent, which has a nice breeze through the open sides.

The Garage has teamed up with All-in Productions to bring this show to the big Interlude tent in Chapelfield Gardens. A pleasant and safe setting for you children’s first taste of theatregoing, skilfully directed by Daniel Burgess.
