Police are appealing for witnesses following a fight in Norwich city centre on Saturday evening (3 October 2020).

The incident happened at about 10pm when a group of 10 men and woman, believed to be aged in their early 20s, were involved in an altercation with a smaller group of young men of a similar age in Bedford Street. The altercation then moved to London Street.

The victim, a 21-year-old man, received significant injuries to his ear and was taken to the Norfolk and Norwich University Hospital for treatment. His injuries later required surgery.

Officers are keen to hear from anyone who witnessed the incident or has any information about it.
