Police are investigating a series of ram-raids which happened at business premises in Norwich on Thursday night  (23 November).

The incidents, which involved a stolen plain white Ford Transit van belonging to police, took place in the Europa Way and Hall Road areas of the city, with the first happening shortly after 8.30pm.

The unmarked van, stolen from Europa Way earlier in the evening, was used to force shutter doors at three premises – two on Europa Way and another on Hall Road.

Offender(s) gained access to one premises on Hall Road in which animal feed was stolen however this was later recovered. No entry was gained to other premises.

The van remains outstanding and police can confirm the vehicle, which is not used for operational purposes, contained no equipment or documentation.

Investigations are continuing and police would like to hear from anyone who may have witnessed the incidents or has information concerning them
