Officers are appealing for information following the theft of two boat engines in Cley.

The incident took place sometime between 10am on Wednesday 19 October and 10am on Friday 21 October 2016 close to the car park in Beach Road, High Heath, Cley.

The victim left his Cheetah catamaran, on the shingle bank for two days and returned to discover an engine had been taken from each hull.

Both Honda 40 engines were fitted new this summer and are worth around £9000 in total.

Officers would like to speak to anyone who may have witnessed any suspicious behaviour in the area or been offered such items for sale in suspicious circumstances.
