Police are appealing for witnesses following a collision on the outskirts on Norwich on the B1150 North Walsham Road.

The incident happened at about 9.20pm on Thursday (3 October 2019) near to Norwich Rugby Club, involving three vehicles.

A Fiat 500 travelling towards Norwich has been forced to take avoiding action as a result of an overtake by a vehicle travelling in the opposite direction.

The Fiat has then collided with a Vauxhall Astra that was travelling behind the car that overtook, which officers believe to be a blue Ford KA.

The drivers of the Fiat and Vauxhall suffered minor injuries. The Ford KA failed to stop at the scene and officers are keen to trace and speak with the driver.

Officers would like to hear from anyone who may have witnessed the incident, or motorists who were travelling in the area at the time and may have dash cam footage.

Anyone with information should contact PC Gareth Jones at Wymondham Roads and Armed Policing Team (RAPT) on 101 or email Gareth.Jones@norfolk.pnn.police.uk.
