County Hall Update

  Services are being restored at County Hall in Norwich after the disruption following a suspected power surge yesterday. Power supplies and telephone services have been reconnected. Engineers will continue working to restore the full range of IT systems – including Norfolk County Council’s public website – over the weekend. The Council apologises for the inconvenience caused by the disruption to normal services. We continue to ask people only to contact Norfolk County Council in an emergency while the work to restore services continues. Norwich Airport incident update

Investigations are continuing following an incident at Norwich Airport after a man accessed a secure part of the site and assaulted two men. It happened in the early hours of this morning (Tuesday 25 April) at 2.26am when police received a 999 call from an airport worker who reported an intruder on site. The intruder entered a hanger and approached two workers, assaulting one with a mug and another with what is believed to be a piece of broken glass.
